Social Media Week NYC

When Yelldesign was created in 2013, I was invited by NOKIA to attend Social Media Week NYC, demonstrating how to use smartphones and apps for social media. I even made it on live TV - 'Good Morning New York'. SMWNYC Festival founder Toby Daniels and I spoke briefly on the show about the festival and its programs.

Later that day, FOX News was in the building, and I had another appearance and interview which totally took me by surprise but was a fantastic and memorable experience.

TedX Sydney

We were thrilled to be commissioned by TedX Sydney 2017 to create a short film 'The Dating Game'. We attended the event and the film was presented to a packed house, quite a surreal feeling to see your work in such a huge auditorium like the Sydney International Convention Centre.

Envato Sales Conference

I spoke at the recent Envato Sales Conference held at The Edge in federation Square in 2023. Asked to discuss my experience using Envato's suite of digital assets for content creation, I explained the various ways we use assets as creators, and the bulk of developers attending were super keen to hear how their products were actually being used. Working alongside developers has always made sense to me, how digital tools are built, and how we use them as creators, is often at odds. Maintaining partnerships with key people in tech has been a real focus for me throughout my career.
